# Google Analytics

> Connect Google Analytics to view your overall site traffic and sessions inside Cliro.

Connecting **Google Analytics (GA)** brings your overall site traffic into Cliro, giving context to the AI-driven visits you track with AI referrals.

## Connect Google Analytics

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the setup">
    Go to **Analytics → Google Analytics → Setup**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Authorize with Google">
    Sign in with the Google account that has access to your Analytics property and grant Cliro read access.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select your property">
    Choose the GA property for the site you're tracking.
  </Step>

## What you'll see

The **Traffic** dashboard summarizes your sessions and visitors, giving you a baseline to compare against your [AI referrals](/en/analytics/ai-referrals) — so you can gauge how much of your traffic AI is driving over time.

  You can only connect properties your Google account can access. Make sure you have at least read access to the GA property before connecting.
