The Brand & E-E-A-T page (under Knowledge base) is where you tell Cliro who your brand is. Good brand data improves how accurately Cliro detects your mentions, and your E-E-A-T information strengthens how search engines and AI verify your credibility. It’s organized in tabs: Brand book, E-E-A-T and Context.

Brand book

The Profile defines your brand’s identity, location and positioning:
  • Brand name and website.
  • Alternative names — other spellings or names that should also count as your brand in visibility reports. Enable Exact match only to count just the exact spellings you list.
  • Location — where your brand is primarily based.
  • Geographic reach — Global, primary market, nationwide, regional or local.
  • Language — the language your brand mainly communicates in.
  • Brand context — a short description of what your brand does, who it serves and what makes it different.
Adding alternative names is one of the highest-impact settings: if AI models refer to you by a short name, product name or common misspelling, Cliro won’t credit those mentions unless you list them here.

E-E-A-T

E-E-A-T stands for Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trustworthiness. This data powers schema markup, author attribution and helps search engines and AI verify your credibility. It’s grouped into sections, including:
  • Entity & ownership — organization identity for Organization schema.
  • Editorial responsibility — who owns and reviews your content.
  • Contributors — named people behind your content.
  • Experience & expertise — first-hand experience, areas of expertise and methodologies.
  • Authority signals — leadership, partnerships, notable customers, media mentions.
  • Trust & transparency — data sourcing, citation and fact-checking policies.
  • Knowledge freshness & scope, contact & accountability, and schema & metadata controls.
Fill in what’s relevant and click Save E-E-A-T. The more complete this is, the stronger your credibility signals — and the richer the context available to the Content Agent.

Managing competitors

Competitor brands are also part of the Knowledge base. Add the brands you want to benchmark against, and Cliro will detect their mentions in the same responses it analyzes for you. See the Competitors page for how the comparison works.
