How prompts are organized
- Topics group related prompts (e.g. “pricing comparisons”). Use the sidebar to switch between All prompts and a specific topic, or Add topic.
- Tags are labels you attach to prompts to filter your data later — by funnel stage, campaign or region.
- Location scopes a prompt to a market so answers reflect that audience.
Add a prompt
Generate prompts with AI
Click Generate with AI to have Cliro suggest prompts based on your topics and brand. Suggested prompts appear for review and don’t count toward your plan limit until you activate them.Bulk import

The Excel template includes the required columns plus dropdowns for country, topic and tag.
Activate, deactivate and delete
| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Activate | Starts tracking the prompt. It counts toward your prompt limit and runs on the daily schedule. |
| Deactivate | Stops tracking and frees up the slot. Existing data is kept. |
| Delete | Removes the prompt. If it was active, the slot is freed. |
Your plan has a limit on active prompts. Suggested and inactive prompts don’t count. When activating several at once, Cliro validates the whole batch against your limit — it’s all-or-nothing.
Run a prompt now
Use Execute now to run a prompt immediately instead of waiting for the daily cycle — handy after editing a prompt or to check a fresh result. Active prompts also re-run automatically every day.The prompt detail view
Click any prompt to open its detail page, where you can see, per model:- The full response the model gave.
- Whether (and where) your brand was mentioned.
- Sentiment and position for each mention.
- The citations the model used.
